1. Service Description

CupNation is an online prediction competition platform where users can predict match results for the FIFA World Cup 2026 tournament and compete with colleagues and friends for prizes.

2. User Accounts

Users must register with valid information to participate. Each user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials. Users must be 18 years or older to register.

3. Admin Payments

CupNation offers two paid admin tiers, each as a one-time payment processed securely through Stripe:

• Company Admin: €39.00 — Create and manage a company competition.
• Group Admin: €12.50 — Create and manage a group or department competition within an existing company.

Prices may vary by currency based on your location. Individual participants can join competitions for free.

4. Competition Rules

• Predictions must be submitted before each match starts
• Points are awarded as follows:
  • 10 points for exact score predictions
  • 5 points for correct outcome predictions (win/draw/loss)
• Rankings are updated after each match is scored
• Prizes are awarded based on final leaderboard rankings at tournament completion

5. Prizes

Prize distribution is determined by each company or competition organizer. CupNation provides the platform but does not directly provide prizes unless explicitly stated.

6. User Conduct

Users agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to manipulate scores or rankings
• Share account credentials with others
• Harass or abuse other users

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for any downtime, technical issues, or data loss.

8. Privacy

We collect and store user information to provide the service. We do not sell user data to third parties. Payment information is processed securely through Stripe and is not stored on our servers.

9. Cancellation Policy

Users can delete their accounts at any time. Company Admins who paid for admin access are subject to the refund policy outlined in our Refund Policy.

10. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice to users.

11. Limitation of Liability

CupNation is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Netherlands.
